A Mother Tongue Translator is someone who translates solely into their native language which they grew up speaking
We only use mother tongue translators as they are simply the best people for the job. They must also be fluent and qualified in
the language(s) they translate into their mother tongue language.
For
example a French mother tongue translator would be educated
and brought up in a French-speaking country. If they translate into French from Spanish, they would need to be fluent in
Spanish and have suitable qualifications such as
a degree
in Spanish translation.
